Sammy is a university student in his first year in Linguistics. His uncle is a retired professor (Uncle Wally). Sammy is staying at his uncle’s during his first year at university. They often talk together about how things are going in his university studies. The following conversation takes place as Sammy is about to begin the second term in his undergraduate programme.
